Per the instructions on the pattern, apply the interfacing, batting, velcro, trim closure, magnetic closure and this is how the bag and bag lining will look before assembly:



Per the instructions on the pattern, position the finished pockets onto the Purse Main Fabric.

Per the instructions on the pattern, Sew the Front Purse to the Back:
Make sure you line up the tops of the pockets so they're even before sewing the sides.

Per the instructions on the pattern, box the corners:



Per the instructions on the pattern, make and attach the D-rings:




Per the instructions on the pattern, sew the lining to the purse:


Per the instructions on the pattern, make the purse straps (see detailed instructions below), then turn the bag right side out and sew one end of the strap to the left d-ring:




Per the instructions on the pattern, add the strap slider, loop through the right D-ring and loop back through the underside of the slider and sew.  Here's the succession pics to help you achieve this:




Very Important:  Make sure you sew to the left side of the loop and not the right


You're Finished......Enjoy your new Crossbody Purse.


Staps:

How to Make Straps for Hourglass Patterns©:  Crossbody Purse:

For a 1" Strap Cut 4" at 55" Wide.  If your fabric width is not wide enough, piece together by sewing on the diagnol.

Trim the seam allowance to 1/4"

Press Flat.

Fold in Half and press.

Reopen and press raw edges to match center press line.  

Reopen again and add a 2" strip of medium weight iron on interfacing.

Fold in raw edges again and then fold in on center line and press.  Ensure finished edges are lined up perfectly.

Topstitch 1/8" from each edge and press again.
