Tips for making this dress:
1. Make a muslin or two because there are so many seams to line up
2. Baste all seams, make adjustments for those that don't match and re-baste
3. Insert the zipper last

Holiday Dress 2015
This is a Frankenpattern. I self drafted the top and used the Vogue 8648 Misses' Dress Pattern for the midriff and skirt bottom. The top is made of ITY stretch and stretch lace. The midriff is fabric backed leather and the bottom is a heavy weight ponte knit made of nylon and lycra.
