As you probably know if you've ever visited my store on ETSY, I just love the raglan style.  I love many things about it, but mostly I love how quickly it goes together.  Additionally, your fabric choices and whether you contrast the sleeves dictates it's casualness.   You can take a simple pattern like this and also amp it up by using ITY fabric for the bodice and lace for the sleeves.  Now you have a dressy evening top.  I'll never get tired of this style, that why I have so many variations in my store.
